Diaspora programmes extend beyond economic pursuits, prioritizing social impact and philanthropy. Through engagement, you can contribute to humanitarian efforts, educational initiatives, healthcare projects, and community development programmes. We have provided three areas for participation as a starting point.
Volunteer your Time

According to findings from the latest UNICEF South Africa U-Report poll (2021), 65% of young people who participated indicated they had some form of mental illness. It further stated that a quarter of the respondents did not think their mental illness was serious enough to take action, while 20% simply did not know where to seek help.
As a nation, we are not spared from this harsh reality and need you to join us in the fight against the mental health pandemic. We urge you to volunteer your time and expertise in creating visibility of available psychological services and providing free counseling services to vulnerable individuals in need. Bursary Linkages

The Nation continues to offer bursaries and alternative funding opportunities to enable young people to further their studies through the Royal Bafokeng Institute. However, as a Nation, we are faced with multiple competing priorities and having to manage the delicate process of providing services to the current generation as well as protecting and growing our resources for the benefit of future generations
To this effect, we saw it fit to cast the net wide, because we truly believe that “it takes a village to raise a child”. We believe that through our collaborative efforts, we can increase the visibility of funding opportunities and link young people to existing bursaries, beyond the borders of the homeland or surrounding areas. Idea's Hub

“No matter what people tell you, words and ideas” can change the world.”
Labouring towards a truly innovative and relevant African society – one that seeks and fosters a high quality of life for all – will require support and effort from all people of our land.
It requires us to evolve and keep pace with both technological advances and our community’s needs.
If you wish to contribute to this shared future and our plans to achieve it, we urge you to familiarise yourself with the RBN Plan 35 (A developmental framework to guide all aspects of implementing our vision), thereafter submit your innovative ideas to the Diaspora ideas hub for consideration toward the attainment of our vison.
